You’ll find us on the first floor of SCO 489 and 490 in Sector 35C. That’s a pretty popular part of Chandigarh, so there’s always a lot of foot traffic downstairs. Our office is a bit quieter once you get away from the street level. We have a few rooms where we sit down with people and go over their documents. There are stacks of folders and papers on almost every surface. We spend a lot of time reading through rules and filling out forms on the computer. It’s a lot of administrative work, making sure everything is in order for whoever walks through the door. The windows look out over the sector, and you can see people going about their shopping below. We’ve been here for a few years now, and the office has definitely started to feel lived in. There are pens that don't work mixed in with the good ones and the printer always seems to need more paper at the worst time. We don't have a big corporate team, just a small group of us who know how to handle the paperwork side of things. It’s a lot of talking and explaining how the process works. We just try to stay on top of the pile and keep things moving so people don't have to wait around forever.
