Our small center is located at 7/2 Nainan Para Lane in Kolkata, 700036. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight the lanes can be. We are tucked away in a spot that’s easy to miss if you’re in a hurry. The building is an old one, with the kind of thick walls and high ceilings you find in traditional Kolkata houses. Inside, we have our computer lab set up with several rows of PCs. It’s where we teach things like Computer Skills: Fundamental, Dtp (Pagemaker, Corel-Draw, Fr). The room can get a bit stuffy when all the machines are running, so we keep the fans on high. It’s not a fancy technical institute with a big budget. It’s more of a neighborhood spot where people come to learn something useful. We have basic wooden benches and some older monitors that still work just fine. The atmosphere is very informal; we know most of our students by name and often chat with them about things other than computers. Outside, the lane is usually full of the sounds of daily life—neighbors talking, kids playing, and the occasional rickshaw passing by. We don't do any big advertising; word just gets around the community. It’s a modest place, but it serves its purpose. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our part to help people pick up some new skills in our little corner of the city.
