We are located in Zirakpur on L J Road, right near the Jai Mata Marble shop, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The road gets pretty busy with all the construction and marble trucks, so there’s always a bit of dust in the air and noise from the traffic. Our place is basically a hub for cargo, so there’s always boxes being moved and trucks being loaded up at odd hours. We have a small crew that handles the heavy lifting and a couple of people in the office to manage the schedules. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the drivers and making sure they know which way to go to avoid the worst of the Zirakpur traffic. The office is a bit cramped because we use a lot of the space for temporary storage, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other business owners on L J Road. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything; we just rely on being in a spot where people can see us. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but we’ve got a system that works for us and the people we deal with.
