We operate out of 31 Sector 26, which is a good spot for what we do with Chamba Shimla Roadline P. Ltd. Being in Sector 26 means we are right in the thick of things. There are trucks coming and going, and the office is usually filled with the sound of engines and people talking about routes. It gets dusty, and the floors aren't always clean, but that’s the nature of transport work. I’ve been here for a long time, watching the way the roads have changed. The drivers come in to drop off paperwork and share stories about the traffic or the landslides they saw. It’s a tough business, but we keep at it. The office at number 31 is where everything gets coordinated. We don't have a lounge for visitors, just a few plastic chairs if you need to wait. It’s a practical setup for people who are used to the road. We just try to keep the wheels moving as well as we can every day.
