Cell Care

Cell Care is located right on Nagappa Street in Sector 22. If you spend any time in this area, you know that it stays very crowded most of the day. Our shop at 1031/32 is basically a small hub for anyone who has a problem with their mobile phone. We spend most of our hours looking through magnifying glasses at tiny little circuit boards and wires. It is messy work and our benches are always covered in spare parts, tiny screws, and old screens that we had to replace. We started this business because we just liked fixing things that other people thought were completely broken. Some days it feels like every person in Sector 22 has a cracked screen or a battery that will not hold a charge anymore. We do not use any big fancy machines here, just our hand tools and a lot of patience. Most of the staff grew up around this neighborhood, so we know all the local shortcuts and the other shop owners nearby. When the power goes out, we just wait for the generator or use a small torch to finish whatever we were soldering. It is not the quietest place to work with all the street noise, but we like the energy. People come in with all sorts of questions, some easy and some really hard. We try to be honest about what is worth fixing and what is just a waste of money.
