Cafe Coffee Day

This Cafe Coffee Day is at 312 on Senapati Bapat Road, right inside the Shivaji Housing Society in Sector 19. It’s a busy location because of all the people living and working around here. The road outside is almost always packed with cars and bikes, so it gets quite loud during the rush hours. Inside, we have plenty of tables, but they often get moved around by groups, so the floor has quite a few scratch marks. We spend a lot of time making different drinks and trying to keep the counters from getting sticky. The large windows let in a lot of sunlight, which is nice but can make the place get a bit warm in the afternoons. We don't have a complicated way of running things here. We just show up for our shifts, put on the aprons, and get to work. The coffee machines have their own personalities and can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Sector 19 is a lively part of the city, and we see a mix of everyone from students to elderly residents. We don’t have any big corporate philosophies we follow; we just try to keep the place decent and the orders moving. Sometimes the music we play is just whatever someone left on the radio. It’s a pretty standard spot on Senapati Bapat Road where people can just sit for a bit. We just handle the daily tasks as they come.
