Cafe Coffee Day

We are located at 96 Richmond Road in Sector 10. It’s a nice enough area with a lot of trees along the street. The shop has been here for a good while now. We spend most of our mornings getting the machines warmed up and cleaning the counters. It’s usually quiet early on, then it picks up around ten. The chairs are getting a little worn down, but they’re still comfortable enough to sit in for a bit. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who take turns behind the counter. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to shuffle things around in the back room to make space. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze back there with all the boxes of cups and napkins. We don't really do anything special for decorations, just some old posters on the wall that have been there forever. The window has a small crack in the corner from a bird that flew into it last summer. We haven't gotten around to fixing it yet because it doesn't really bother anyone. People come in to read the paper or just sit for a minute away from the noise of the street. It’s a simple job, really. We make sure the floor is swept and the tables are wiped. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to get a drink and take a break. The bell on the door is a bit loud, but it helps us know when someone walks in.
