We are based on the first floor of House Number 588 in Sector 41 A. Being in Chandigarh means we are in a pretty planned-out neighborhood, though parking around Sector 41 can be a bit of a headache during the day. Our space is just a regular floor in a house that we’ve converted into an office for our home finance work. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which I think makes people a bit more comfortable when they come in. There’s a small staircase you have to climb to get to us. Inside, we have our computers and all the folders we need to keep track of everything. It’s usually just a couple of us working here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing up reports. The windows look out over the street, so we can see what’s going on outside. It’s a quiet enough place to focus on the paperwork, which is good because the financial stuff requires a lot of attention. We don't have a big sign outside or anything, just the house number. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking up the address. It’s a simple setup that works for the kind of small-scale finance work we do. We just keep our heads down and get the files processed one by one. The air conditioning unit is a bit loud, but you get used to the hum after you've been sitting there for an hour.
