Balaji Electricals

Our shop, Balaji Electricals, is located in Sector 18 Info city, specifically SCF 40. It’s an interesting spot because we are surrounded by all these modern tech companies while we deal with the more basic stuff like wires, switches, and fuses. Most days, the place smells a bit like copper and old dust. We have drawers full of tiny screws and connectors that I’ve spent years organizing, though they still end up mixed up every now and then. It’s mostly just a few of us here, and we usually have grease on our hands or a screwdriver tucked behind an ear. The front counter has some scratches on it from years of people sliding heavy parts across it. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People usually just stand around and talk while we find what they need or fix a small motor. The lunch hour is when it gets the quietest, and we usually just sit on the crates out back and eat. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in this sector, but we’ve managed to stay put. It's a lot of repetitive work, testing circuits and checking orders, but it's what we know. Some of the labels on the drawers have faded over the years, but we know the contents by heart anyway. It’s a small shop and we like it that way, even if we occasionally trip over a box of conduit.
