Ashoka Welding Works

Our workshop is located in Sector 21 C, and it’s been the same setup for years. Ashoka Welding Works is a place where there’s always some sparks flying and the smell of metal in the air. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a waiting room with a TV. People usually just walk right into the shop area where we are working. We handle all sorts of welding jobs, from small repairs to bigger pieces that take a few days to finish. It’s hard work and it gets hot, especially during the summer months in the shed. We use our hands and our tools every single day. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal and dust, but that’s just how a welding shop looks. We don't spend time cleaning it for show, only to keep it safe. Most of our customers are locals who know we’ve been in Sec 21C for a long time. They bring us things that are broken and we fix them up. There’s no big philosophy behind it. We just look at the metal, figure out the best way to join it, and get the torch going. It’s simple, honest labor. We’ve been doing this long enough that we don’t need to talk much while we work. Sometimes the equipment acts up, but we know how to fix it ourselves. It’s just part of the daily routine here. We keep it real and get the job done.
