Arvind Sehdev

I’ve been over here at Sector 22 on Abdul Rehman Street for a good while now. The office is right by the District Court, so you can imagine the noise and the crowds during the day. It gets pretty busy around here starting from the morning when lawyers and people with paperwork show up. Most days I’m just sitting at my desk near the window watching the rickshaws go past. My name is Arvind Sehdev and I’ve stayed in this spot because it is close to everything I need. The building isn't fancy or anything. The walls could use a new coat of paint maybe, but it works for what I do. There is a small chai stall just down the road where I usually go when I need a break from the files. It gets quite hot in the summer months and the fan just moves the warm air around mostly. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery truck and everyone starts honking. It is just the way things are here. I like the routine of coming in and setting things up. My desk is usually covered in papers and folders that I try to keep organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions to the court since it is so close. I don't mind it. It keeps the day moving along.
