We've been working out of the office here at Sector 49 Shantinagar Flats for quite a while now. Most days you’ll find us just sorting through paperwork or talking to folks who are looking for a place to stay nearby. It isn't a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. Dealing with property around this part of town means we see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. Sometimes people just drop by to ask about what's available in the building or if we know anyone moving out soon. We try to keep things straightforward. If a flat has issues, we mention it. If the rent is high, we say so. It’s better that way. My desk is usually covered in folders and coffee mugs, honestly. We don’t really do the big flashy advertising stuff. Most of our work comes from people walking in or hearing about us from a neighbor. Shantinagar is a busy area, so there is always something going on with the flats. We spend a lot of time walking between the blocks to check on things. It's mostly just me and a couple of others keeping the lights on and making sure the keys are where they should be. It gets a bit hectic when several people want to see the same unit at once, but we manage. We’ve lived around here too, so we know which corners get the most sun and where the parking gets tricky. It’s just a regular job for us.
