Our yard is right at 343 Manimajra, very close to the railway crossing, so we hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a bit of a noisy spot, but it works well for moving the cars in and out. Most of our day is spent looking at trailers and making sure the ramps are secure. Moving cars is a slow process because you have to be careful with the space and how everything is lined up. We have a small office near the front gate where we keep the keys and the registration papers. It’s usually got a bit of grease on the floor from people walking back and forth from the trucks. The weather in Manimajra can be tough, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy, but the work doesn't really stop. We’ve got a few drivers who have been with us for a long time and they know the routine near the crossing better than anyone. We don't do much advertising; mostly it's just people seeing the sign or knowing we are the ones near the tracks. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just focus on getting the vehicles loaded up and sent off to wherever they are supposed to go. Sometimes the traffic near the railway makes things difficult, but we’ve learned to work around the train schedules over the years.
