94.3 My Fm, which is part of Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd., is located out in Pinjore. Our office is at 872/B-2 in Bitna Colony, which is in the Panchkula district of Haryana. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is much quieter than being right in the middle of a big city. The office is simple and functional. We spend a lot of time dealing with radio stuff and entertainment schedules. There are always people coming in and out, some with headsets still on their necks. It is not a very formal place. You might see someone eating lunch at their desk while looking over a playlist or a script. Bitna Colony is a regular neighborhood, so we see the same people walking their dogs every day. The office itself has a lot of paper stacked up and some old recording gear that we keep around for no real reason. Working in Haryana means we get a mix of weather, and the office can get a bit chilly in the winter. We don't have a big corporate handbook or fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly, we just try to keep the station running and make sure everything sounds okay for the listeners. It is a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from fixing a cable to answering the front door when a visitor arrives. We just do the work.
