Siddaiahna Koppalu Small Farmersproducer Company Limited is based in our little village. If you’re looking for us, we’re at No 444/441 in Siddaiahna Koppalu Village, which is in Kothathi Hobali, near Yeliyur Post. We are a small group, just like the name says. Most of us have small plots of land that we’ve been farming for a long time. We thought it would be better to join up so we could have a bit more say in how things go. Our village is a tight-knit place, and everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. Working as a company just makes it official. We don't have a fancy setup. The office is just a room with some files and a table where we sit and talk. We spend a lot of time worrying about the water and the market prices. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours because everyone wants to have their say. It can be exhausting, but it’s the only way to make sure everyone is treated fairly. We aren't looking for big investors or trying to get famous. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming this land. It’s honest work, and it’s what our fathers and grandfathers did before us. We just do it together now under this name to try and make things a bit more stable for all the families involved in the village.
