Rosler SurfaceTech Private Limited is situated at Plot No.A-29 in Phase-II of the MIDC Industrial Area. This part of the industrial zone is pretty spread out, so we have a decent amount of room. We work on surface finishing, which basically means we clean and polish metal parts until they look right. It is a messy job. There is a lot of water and grinding media involved, so the floor is usually wet or covered in fine dust. We wear rubber boots most of the time to keep our feet dry. The machines we use are big vibrating bowls and tumblers that make a lot of rumbling noise. You have to shout a bit to be heard when they are all running at once. We have a small crew and everyone knows their role. One guy handles the loading, another watches the chemicals, and I usually look over the finished parts to make sure they are smooth. We do not have fancy furniture in the lobby; it is just a place for people to wait while we bring their samples out. Sometimes a batch does not come out right the first time and we have to run it again. It happens to everyone. We just put in the hours and try to keep the machines in good shape. It is a steady pace and we have been at it for years in this same building. Most of our days are spent checking parts.
