Our spot is at 109, Wing 1 in Hans Bhawan. Being at ITO on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg means we are right in the center of a lot of history and government offices. Hans Bhawan is an older building, and you can feel that when you walk through the hallways. It has that classic Delhi office smell of old paper and dust. Z Drive Private Limited is just one of many small companies tucked away in these wings. We have a modest setup on the first floor. It is convenient because the bus stops and the metro are very close, but the traffic outside at the ITO intersection is always a nightmare. We usually hear the honking from the street all day long. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our workstations lined up and a small corner for files and stuff. It is not the kind of place where you find bean bags or ping pong tables. We are here to work. Sometimes we go out to the nearby stalls for bread pakoras or chai in the afternoon. It is a very traditional way of working in Delhi. We don't really bother with making the place look like a showroom. As long as the internet works and we have a place to sit, we are good to go. It is a steady environment for us to get things done without any unnecessary distractions or corporate polish.
