If you take the metro, it’s not a long walk, but the lanes are always packed with people and rickshaws. Wts Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is in Tirupati Plaza, which is one of those buildings that always feels like there’s construction going on somewhere. Our office is on the upper ground floor, so we don’t have to climb too many stairs. It’s a small unit, just enough room for the computers and a couple of stools for guests. We keep a stack of old magazines on the side table that no one ever reads. The lighting is fluorescent and a bit bright, but it keeps us awake during the slow afternoon hours. We hear the street sounds all day long—horns honking and people shouting. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just some instant packets and a kettle. The desk where the main computer sits is a bit wobbly, so we put a piece of folded cardboard under one leg. It’s been like that for months. We mostly deal with the day-to-day tasks that come in.
