Sanghi Auto Traders

Sanghi Auto Traders is tucked away in Karol Bagh at Naiwala 1181/7. This part of the city is always full of motorcycles and spare parts. Our shop is no different. We have heavy metal parts stacked up on old wooden shelves. There’s a constant smell of oil and metal in the air. My hands are rarely clean because I’m always moving things around or checking a part for a customer. We don't have a big sign or any fancy lights. People find us because they know we've been at 1181/7 for a long time. We deal with a lot of mechanics who come in looking for specific gears or cables. Sometimes we have to go into the back room with a flashlight to find something that hasn't been asked for in months. It's a bit of a dusty job, but someone has to do it. The street outside is narrow and usually blocked by bikes being repaired. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of tools and engines. We don't have a computer system to track everything. We mostly rely on our memory and some old notebooks. It’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes we close up a bit early if it’s raining hard, as the water tends to come into the street. We just take each day as it comes. It's not a corporate life, just a small business in a busy market.
