Goodwill Automobiles

Goodwill Automobiles is another one of those shops on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, specifically at number 24/1482. Karol Bagh is just full of places like ours. We mostly deal with the day-to-day needs of people who have vehicles that need parts. It’s a simple setup. We have a counter, some stools, and lots of racks filled with various bits of machinery. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a workshop area, so that’s expected. We spend our time checking invoices and talking to the delivery guys. Sometimes the street gets so blocked up that nothing can move, and we just stand at the door and watch the chaos. It’s part of being in this part of town. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just run the shop at 24/1482. Most of us have been working in this trade for a long time, so we know the parts pretty well. We aren't fancy talkers. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. Sometimes we give a little discount if it’s a regular customer we’ve known for years. That’s how things work in a local market. We close up in the evening when the street finally starts to quiet down a little bit. It’s a long day, but it’s honest work and we’re okay with it. We just make sure the inventory stays organized so we don't lose track of things over time.
