Bengal Auto House

Down at 1039/16 on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, you’ll find Bengal Auto House. We’ve been operating out of this spot in Karol Bagh for many years. The street is narrow and usually packed with delivery rickshaws and people carrying heavy bags of parts. Our shop is no different; it’s packed from floor to ceiling. We handle a variety of auto components, mostly focusing on the smaller bits and pieces that bigger shops might not bother with. It’s a lot of searching through bins for the right nut, bolt, or gasket. My hands are usually covered in some kind of grime by the time lunch rolls around. We eat our tiffin right at the counter most days because it’s too busy to go out. There’s a steady stream of people asking for prices and checking if a part is genuine. We don't do any big promotions or have a fancy website. People know where we are because we’ve been here so long. The building is old and the stairs to the upper storage are a bit shaky, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to find what the customer wants. It’s just part of the daily routine here. We keep the doors open six days a week and just keep moving.
