Grd Motors

Grd Motors is situated at number 79 in Khanna Market, right near Tis Hazari. This area is famous for being packed with auto parts and mechanics, so it is always loud and full of energy. If you come by, you will see piles of engine parts and tires all over the place. Our shop is no different. It is a bit messy and there is always oil on the ground somewhere. We spend most of our time dealing with car stuff, wiping grease off our hands, and looking through catalogs for specific parts. It is a busy environment and you have to watch where you step so you don't trip over a jack or a toolbox. We have a couple of stools where we sit and have tea when there is a break in the work. The market gets very crowded in the afternoons, with bikes and rickshaws squeezing through the narrow lanes. We know almost everyone on this block because we have been here for such a long time. It is a tough way to make a living sometimes, especially when it rains and the market gets muddy, but we enjoy being part of the community here. We don't have a website or any of that stuff; people just know we are here at shop 79. We just show up every day, do the work, and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way home.
