Rk Auto Mobiles is located at Shop No 109 in the Ram Nagar Market area of Paharganj. If you know Paharganj, you know how busy and packed it gets with people and bikes. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We have grease on our hands most of the time because we are always tinkering with parts or fixing something that stopped working. The shop isn't big, so we have parts hanging from the ceiling and stacked along the walls. You have to watch your step so you don't trip over a tire or a toolbox on the floor. We handle all kinds of vehicle issues, mostly for the people who live and work around the market. It’s a loud place with motorcycles zooming by and people shouting out orders for tea from the corner stall. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or air conditioning. People usually just stand around and talk while we work on their stuff. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because a bolt is rusted tight, and we just have to keep at it until it finally gives. We have been in this spot for a long time and seen the neighborhood change, but the need for a good mechanic never goes away. We just do the work, wipe our hands on a dirty rag, and move on to the next job that comes in. It's a simple life and it keeps us grounded.
