Winner Automobiles

Winner Automobiles is tucked away in Karol Bagh on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, at 1832/48. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy the streets get with cars and bikes everywhere. We’ve been here for years, mostly working on parts and repairs for whatever rolls into the shop. It’s a greasy job, and my hands are usually stained with oil by noon. We have a small crew of mechanics who have been with me for a long time. We handle a lot of the older models that people still drive around here. The street is narrow, so sometimes getting a vehicle inside the workspace is a real challenge. We have stacks of tires and old engine parts lining the walls. It’s not a shiny showroom, it’s a real workshop where things get fixed. I spend a lot of my time on the phone trying to track down specific spare parts that are hard to find. Karol Bagh is famous for this kind of work, so there's a lot of competition, but we just focus on our own bench. We don't do much talking, just get the tools out and start working. Sometimes we stay late if a job is proving difficult or if a customer really needs their car back for the morning. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We just take it day by day and keep the wrenches turning until the sun goes down.
