If you’ve ever had to go to the Tis Hazari courts, you know how chaotic it is. My place is in the Western Wing, specifically Wing 2. It’s a small corner where I, Rajesh Kr Gandhi, spend most of my waking hours. The halls are always packed with people, lawyers in black coats, and folks looking worried about their cases. My office is basically just a desk surrounded by tall stacks of folders and law books. It’s not a quiet place. You can hear the shouting from the corridors and the constant tapping of typewriters or printers nearby. I’ve been here for years, and I’ve seen the building age and the crowds grow. I usually get in early before the court sessions start to get some peace and quiet. Most of my work involves reading through documents and writing up notes. It’s a tiring job, and the dust from all the old files can get to you after a while. I don't have a fancy waiting room; people just stand in the hallway or sit on a plastic chair if one is free. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused throughout the day. It’s a hard environment, but it’s where the work happens. I don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. It’s just a workspace in the middle of a very busy legal hub.
