Raja Namkeen Udyog

Our place is Raja Namkeen Udyog and we are located at number 85 in Gur Mandi, Rajpura. If you come by in the morning, you can usually smell whatever we are making from down the road. It’s a busy little area and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. We don’t have any big corporate offices or fancy uniforms. It’s mostly just us in the back working with the ingredients. Making namkeen is a lot of work and it gets hot near the stoves. We spend a lot of time making sure the batches are right. It’s a simple business. We don’t go for flashy packaging or big ads. Most of the people around here in Rajpura know where we are. We've been at this for some time now and it’s become our second home really. The floors are a bit worn down and the bags of flour are stacked up everywhere, but that’s just how a real workshop looks. We focus on getting the snacks ready for the day. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there are lots of orders, but we manage. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make good snacks and keep the shop running. It’s a practical life and we are happy to be part of the Gur Mandi community.
