Maharaja Caterer & Karachi Sweets

We are located down at 7A/9 in the WEA area, specifically in Channa Market. If you know Karol Bagh, you probably know we’re right below Hotel Pawan Plaza. Maharaja Caterer & Karachi Sweets is usually a bit chaotic because of the location. Being in a busy market like Channa means there’s always people moving around and deliveries coming in. We spend a lot of time making sweets and packing up food for different gatherings. The kitchen gets hot, especially when we are preparing a big batch of something. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the neighbors in Karol Bagh are mostly familiar faces. It’s not some polished corporate kitchen; it’s a working shop where floors get sticky and the staff is always on their feet. Sometimes the street outside is so crowded we can barely get the supplies through the door. We handle both the catering side and the sweet shop, so there’s always two things going on at once. It’s a lot of weighing sugar and stirring big vats of milk. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the flavors right. You won't find anything too fancy here, just a lot of hard work and regular people trying to make a living. Most days we are just busy counting boxes or checking the burners. It’s a solid local business in a very busy part of town.
