My office is in the Western Wing of the Tis Hazari courts, at number 25. If you have ever been to Tis Hazari, you know how hectic and loud it is. There are people everywhere and everyone is in a hurry. My space is small but it is right where the action is. I have been working as a lawyer here for a long time and I have seen all sorts of things. The walls are lined with thick law books and old files that are tied with red string. I don't have a big staff, it is mostly just me and sometimes an assistant to help with the filing. Most of my day is spent either in the courtroom or sitting at my desk reading through papers. It is a tiring job and the halls of the court can be very hot in the summer. I usually have a cup of tea on my desk that has gone cold because I got busy. People come to me when they are in trouble or need something sorted out with the law. I don't use any fancy marketing. People find me because they saw my name on the door or someone told them I have been here for years. It is a tough environment but it is what I know best. I spend most of my life within these court walls and it has become second nature to me. I just keep working one case at a time.
