Proksy Research (Opc) Private Limited

Proksy Research is based in a flat, number 303, over at Pehelwan Chowk. It’s on the third floor of P-139 in the Batla House area of Jamia Nagar. It’s a very lively neighborhood, especially in the evenings. We do research work from here. The space is basically an apartment that we turned into an office. It works for us because it’s quiet enough to concentrate. We have books and papers piled up in different corners. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or anything. You have to climb the stairs to get to us. Most of the day, we are just reading or writing. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long stretches. Jamia Nagar has a lot of students and researchers, so we fit right in. South Delhi is big, but this corner feels like its own little world. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just us doing our thing. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We value the work more than the space we do it in. It’s just how things are at Proksy. We keep it simple and focus on the data. Sometimes the street noise drifts up, but we just put on some music and keep going. It is what it is, and we like the independence it gives us.
