Pradeep Kumar

Tis Hazari is always a bit of a whirlwind. Pradeep Kumar is located right on Main Road 2. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the lawyers, clerks, and people heading to the courts. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Our place is right in the thick of it. It’s a small spot, but being on the main road makes it easy for people to find us, even if the traffic is a nightmare. I usually take the metro to avoid the parking mess. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few chairs for visitors and a desk that is usually buried under folders. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and vehicles nearby, but we try to keep it tidy. There is no air of mystery or corporate polish here. It’s just a room where we deal with whatever comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few minutes, but we just keep working. You get to meet all sorts of people in Tis Hazari. It’s a place where you have to be quick on your feet. I’ve been at this address for a while and I’ve seen the shops around me change, but we stay the same. It’s just a practical work environment for someone who needs to be near the heart of the legal action in Delhi.
