P. C. Today

P. C. Today is tucked into the Japan Market, right at G-162. If you’re standing at the Delhi Gate or near the Linear Bus Stop, you’re basically there. Our shop is full of spare parts, monitors, and half-opened computer cases. It gets pretty cramped, especially when three or four people come in at once looking for a cable or a quick fix. We spend a lot of time squinting at motherboards and trying to recover files that someone accidentally deleted. It’s not the cleanest place because there’s always a bit of dust from the fans we’re cleaning out. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The noise from the bus stop across the street is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. Most people just drop by because their laptop won't start or they need a cheap keyboard. We don't have a big showroom. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get fixed. Some days the internet is slow or we’re waiting on a specific part to arrive by courier, and we just have to tell people to wait a day. We try to be straight with everyone about what’s broken and if it’s even worth fixing. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. We’re usually here until late evening trying to finish up the last few repairs for the day.
