We work out of a basement office at 3E/6 in the Jhandenwalan Extension. It’s right in Central Delhi, which is a great location even if being in a basement means we don't get much sunlight. We’ve grown used to it over the years. Nxj India is a small team, and we’ve been at this for a while. The office is always full of the sound of cooling fans and typing. Because we’re in the basement, it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a nice bonus. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. You just come down the stairs and there we are. We focus on various technical and business projects. It’s a lot of data, a lot of screens, and a lot of lists. We aren't the type of place that has a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, check what needs to be done, and do it. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered with paperwork and old hardware, but we know where everything is. Being in Central Delhi is handy because we’re close to everything, but the traffic can be a headache during rush hour. We started this because we wanted to have our own thing. We’re just regular people trying to build something sustainable. It’s hard work, but we like the independence of running our own office in Jhandenwalan.
