Our office is located at 709 in the International Trade Tower at Nehru Place. Nehru Place is a famous spot in Delhi, mostly known for computers and electronics, but we are here doing agro-tech work. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy with the work to look out the window much. Agro-tech is about bringing technology into the farming world. We spend our time figuring out how to make things work better for people out in the fields using technical tools. The Trade Tower is a busy place with people rushing around in the elevators all day. Our office is a bit of a refuge from that chaos. We have our desks and our equipment, and we spend a lot of time discussing projects and looking at data. It’s not like being on a farm, but the work we do here ends up affecting what happens there. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon. We just try to make the tech side of agriculture understandable and useful. People come to 709 to talk about new ways of doing things. It’s a steady job that keeps us connected to both the high-rise life of Nehru Place and the rural roots of the country. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. There is always a new problem to solve with technology, so we stay busy with our screens and plans.
