Our shop is tucked into A-25 in the Prehlad Mkt, right off DB Gupta Road in Karol Bagh. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with people and carts moving every which way. We mostly deal with parts and equipment for farms. The shelves are packed tight with different iron pieces, bolts, and tools that farmers might need for their machinery. It’s a small space, so things are stacked pretty high, and we often have to use a ladder to find what a customer is looking for. The air smells like old metal and the exhaust from the bikes outside on the road. We get a lot of people coming in from out of town who need a specific part fixed or replaced. Sometimes we have to dig through old crates to find something that isn't made anymore. It’s not the quietest place to work, with all the shouting and horns honking on DB Gupta Road, but we’re used to the noise. We keep a ledger on the counter to track what goes out, and half the time we’re just chatting with folks about the weather or how the crops are doing. It’s just a local market shop where we try to keep the parts people need in stock so they can get back to their work.
