Naresh Kumar

I’m Naresh Kumar, and my office is at C 66 on the Tis Hazari Main Road. If you’ve been around here, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in the city. The road is always full of people, rickshaws, and cars. My place is right there in the middle of it. It’s a simple setup, nothing that’s going to win any awards for design, but it’s where I do all my business. I’ve got a lot of old furniture that’s still holding up well. The location is the main thing—being on the main road makes it easy for folks to find me, even if parking is a total nightmare. I usually take the metro or a rickshaw myself to avoid the hassle. The office gets a bit noisy because of the traffic outside, but I don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just the sound of the city. I spend my hours going through documents and talking to clients who stop by. I don’t go for using fancy talk to impress people. I just tell them how it is. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a lot of paperwork to catch up on. I’ve been here long enough that I know most of the other shop owners nearby. We all just do our thing and try to get through the heat in the summer. It’s a practical life. I stay until the work is done, which usually means heading home late.
