Rao Building Materials

Rao Building Materials is located out in Village Patrawat in the Najafgarh area. It’s a bit further out from the main city center, which gives us more room to breathe and store things. We mostly deal with the basic stuff you need to build a house or a wall. Bricks, sand, cement bags, that sort of thing. It’s an outdoor kind of business. We spend most of our time in the yard, waiting for the tractors or trucks to come in with loads. It gets very dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of life in Patrawat. We don't have a fancy office building. It’s just a small room where we keep the books and take a break from the sun. People from the nearby villages and the growing parts of Najafgarh come to us when they are starting a project. We don't have a delivery fleet of fifty trucks, just a couple of reliable ones that get the job done. It’s a simple life out here. We know the local builders and the farmers who are putting up new sheds. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to sell people things they don’t need. If you need a load of sand, we tell you the price and we get it to you. That’s about as complicated as it gets at our small place here.
