You can find Alcock Cement Pipes & Concrete Works on the first floor of Jayendrapuri Bhavan. We are right near the Sanyas Ashram and directly across from the Town Hall on Ashram Road. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we manage the day-to-day tasks of dealing with concrete and pipes. This kind of work is heavy and often quite dusty, but we have been doing it for a long time. We aren't the type to use big, complicated words. We just make pipes and concrete stuff that people need for building things. Most of our guys have been around for years and they know the trade inside out. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the sounds of the road coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to contractors about their projects. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting at the desk taking notes. We try to be as straightforward as possible about what we can do and how long it will take. Concrete takes time to get right, and we don't like to rush things if it means the quality might drop. It’s just a regular local business trying to do honest work for the people in the community.
