We’ve been selling cement and steel to people in the neighborhood for a long time now. It’s the kind of business where your hands are always a bit dirty from the cement bags or the rusted steel bars. We don’t have a polished office with fancy chairs. We have a desk, some chairs for customers, and a lot of stock in the back. Most of our work is just taking orders and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. We know the local builders and the people fixing up their own houses nearby. Jagat Puri is a lively place, and being on the main road means we see a lot of people every day. We don’t do big advertising campaigns. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. We just try to be honest and get the job done without too much fuss. It’s a simple life, really. We open up early, drink some tea, and start moving the bags. By the time the sun goes down, we’re tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. That’s just how we run things here. We aren't looking to change much.
