Karol Bagh is always a bit of a mess with all the people and the traffic outside. Our place, Mtek India, is right in the middle of it at 39/2063, Mtek House. If you’ve ever been to Naiwala, you know how it is. It’s noisy and there is always someone looking for a specific part or a bit of help with their gear. We have been here for a good while now. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just some old desks, metal shelves, and a lot of components tucked away in cardboard boxes. We mostly deal with technical stuff that people need for their specific projects or repairs. Some days are really busy and we barely have time to grab a tea from the stall downstairs. Other days, we spend more time sorting through the inventory and making sure we know where everything is. It's just a regular local business. We don't do big advertisements or use shiny slogans. Most people find us because someone else told them we might have what they are looking for. We like being in this part of Delhi because everything is close by, even if the parking is a nightmare. Our team is small, just a few of us who have worked together for several years. We know most of the regulars by name and they know how we work. It’s just a practical and honest way to run things, really. We keep the shutters up and stay focused on the day's work.
