Our shop is packed with all kinds of utensils. We have stacks of steel plates, brass pots, and aluminum pans reaching up to the ceiling. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it. We’ve been in this market for a long time. My family has always run the shop. Most of our day is spent helping customers find the right size of cooker or a specific type of spoon. During the wedding season, it gets really hectic because people buy big sets of utensils to give as gifts. We spend hours wrapping things in newspaper and packing them into boxes. The noise of the market is always in the background. Cars honking, people bargaining, and the sound of metal clinking together. It’s a tight space, and we have to move things around constantly to get to the stock at the back. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. People just know we are on Arya Samaj Road and they come by. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We just talk to people, show them the goods, and hope they find what they need for their kitchen. It's a lot of work but it's what we know.
