Chaddha

Our place, Chaddha, is tucked away in House No.3081 in Pratap State. If you know the area, we are right behind Golcha Cinema in Darya Ganj. It’s an old part of New Delhi, and things can get pretty crowded around here. The streets are narrow, and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s a lived-in space, not some shiny new glass building. We do our daily work from here, mostly dealing with locals and people who’ve known us for years. Darya Ganj has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of that. There’s a lot of history in these walls. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the mail gets delivered to the wrong house, but that’s just life in this neighborhood. We don’t spend much on advertising or fancy signs. Most folks find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here since they were kids. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting at the main desk. We keep things pretty straightforward. There’s no big corporate talk here. We just handle the business at hand and try to stay organized among all the paperwork. It gets dusty with all the traffic nearby, but we keep the place going. Being near the cinema means it’s never really quiet, which we kind of like. It keeps us awake during the long afternoons.
