The office is usually humming with the sound of keyboards and people talking on their phones. Insurance involves a lot of paperwork, so there are files everywhere, though we try our best to keep them in some kind of order. It’s a steady kind of job. We spend most of our time explaining different policies to people who come in or call us. We try to use plain English because the official documents can be really hard to understand. We aren't trying to be flashy or sound like we’re in a movie; we’re just regular employees doing our work. The building itself is a bit older, so it has some character, but the lifts can be a bit moody sometimes. During the monsoon, the street outside can get a bit flooded, which makes getting to work an adventure. We have a small pantry where we make tea and chat during breaks.
