Hem Chand Gupta

Hem Chand Gupta has been operating out of 66 Anand Parbat in Vivekanand Puri for quite some time now. It’s a small space, but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, and maybe a few leaks when it rains too hard. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about the decor or having the latest furniture. Most of the energy goes into the actual work sitting on the tables. It's a bit of a walk from the main transport hubs, but the locals know where we are. Dealing with people face-to-face is how things usually happen here. We aren't big on emails or fancy websites, to be honest. It's more about the person standing in front of you. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the kids playing and the vendors going by. I’ve lived and worked around here most of my life so it feels right. There’s no big corporate board making decisions, just me and a couple of guys making sure the day-to-day stays on track. It gets dusty, and the tea is usually cold by the time I get to drink it, but that's just part of the routine. We just keep our heads down and do the job that’s in front of us. It is not about being famous or anything, just being reliable for the people in Anand Parbat. We will be here tomorrow doing the same thing.
