Magical Looks Enterprises

Our place is on the first floor over in Block 1 of Dev Nagar. It’s Gali Number 5. If you’ve ever been to Tank Road in Karol Bagh, you know it’s the heart of the garment trade. Magical Looks Enterprises is tucked away in one of those buildings where the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. Carrying stock up and down those steps is basically our workout for the day. We have No. 6158. The first floor is okay because it’s a little quieter than the street level, but you still hear all the carts and rickshaws and people yelling. We spend most of our time checking orders and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. It’s a lot of manual work. My hands are usually tired and dirty by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be some big global company; we just want to get the orders out on time. The lighting in the back room is a bit dim, but we've got used to it over the months. Sometimes the neighbors in the building complain about the noise from the boxes moving, but that’s just how it is here. Tank Road is always moving. We fit right in with the rest of the shops. It’s just us doing our thing in Delhi. No big speeches, just plenty of work to do before the sun goes down and the market slows down a bit.
