Balaji Power Tools

Our shop is over at Sq-11/1 in Anand Parbat, right near the police station. If you can’t find us, just look opposite the electricity office, that’s usually how people find their way here. Balaji Power Tools is a busy little spot. There is almost always the sound of something being tested or fixed. It can get pretty noisy with the drills and saws going, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got shelves full of different tools, some new and some that have seen better days. It’s a dusty kind of place, but that’s what happens when you’re dealing with machinery all day. We spend a lot of time talking to guys who come in with broken equipment, trying to figure out what went wrong. It’s not always an easy fix, and sometimes we have to poke around inside a motor for a while to get it humming again. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been on this corner for a long time. The street outside is always crowded, and parking is a nightmare, but people still make the trip anyway. We just try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s probably seen its last day of work. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep the tools moving and the customers coming in. That is how we have always done things.
