B. C. Plastic Industries

If you go down to Plot No.Pp-7 on Street No. 10 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area, that is where we are. B. C. Plastic Industries is right in the middle of all the noise and smoke of the industrial zone. It is a gritty place, but that is just the nature of working with plastics. The machines are loud and they run for hours, making all sorts of items that people use every day. Street No. 10 is usually blocked with trucks loading and unloading, so getting here can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Inside the factory, things are organized but it’s still a factory, so there’s dust and the smell of raw materials in the air. We have a small crew that knows how to handle the molds and the heat. It’s hard work, especially in the summer months when the building traps all the heat from the machinery. We don't have a front desk with a receptionist; usually, you just find one of us on the floor. We focus on making sure the production doesn't stop because any downtime is a problem. People come to us with their requirements, and we just see if we can make it happen on the machines we have. It’s a straightforward way of living. Anand Parbat isn't the prettiest place, but it is where the work gets done, and we have been here long enough to call it home after all these years.
