Kompass Tech

Our spot is at C1/30, right near the Nanak Pur Gurudwara in Rana Pratap Bagh. If you know the Kamla Nagar area, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. Kompass Tech is basically just a few of us working out of this space. We’ve got cables all over the place and some older monitors sitting in the corner because we haven't gotten around to throwing them out yet. The walk from the main road isn't too bad, but in the summer heat, it feels a lot longer than it is. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on whatever tech issues come our way. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying since that's what we need most. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a regular room where we try to figure out solutions for people. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real break. Most of the time, we’re just staring at screens or talking to someone on the phone about a glitch. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. We like being near the Gurudwara because it’s a good landmark for people who are coming to see us for the first time and get lost in the lanes.
