Khalsa Industries

We run Khalsa Industries from Be-21-22 in Anand Parbat, located on Gali No 10. This is an industrial part of town, so it's not the cleanest or quietest place to work. Our units are filled with equipment and raw materials. Most of our days are spent on the shop floor, making sure the production is going okay and fixing machines when they inevitably break down. It’s a tough environment, especially when the Delhi sun hits the roof in June. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. I’m usually there in my work shirt, dealing with whatever problem comes up next. The address Be-21-22 is basically our second home because of how many hours we put in here. Gali No 10 is always busy with workers and small trucks, so there’s a lot of noise and dust. We focus on getting the manufacturing done. There’s no polished showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We’ve been in Anand Parbat for a long time and we know how things work in this neighborhood. It’s about staying on top of the orders and making sure the machines keep humming along. It’s basic, hard work, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just want to get through the day and get the work out.
