K S Auto Engineering Works

We are located in Gali No 8 over in Anand Parbat at 25/7. K S Auto Engineering Works is a place where there is always the sound of machinery and the smell of oil. We do a lot of mechanical jobs, mostly fixing parts or turning things on the lathe. It is an industrial area, so it’s always noisy and there is always someone moving heavy metal around. Our shop is quite old and the walls are stained with grease, but that just shows how much work has been done here over the years. We take on jobs that other places might find too small or too fiddly. It is mostly about getting the measurements right and making sure the fit is perfect. My hands are almost always black with soot and engine oil, and it never really washes off completely. We have a few old machines that still work better than the new ones if you know how to handle them right. Customers bring in broken components and we see if we can weld them or machine them back into shape. It is not a clean environment, and we don't have a place for people to sit and wait. Most people just drop their stuff off and come back later. We just focus on the metal and the machines, trying to get the parts back to the customers so they can get their own equipment running again. It is what we know how to do.
