H R Mechanical Works

Our workshop is located at B-24 in Gali No 9 of Anand Parbat. It’s a typical mechanical shop where there’s always something being welded or grinded down. The air usually smells like burnt metal and machine oil. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. The walls are stained and the floor is rough, but it suits the kind of mechanical work we do here. We have a few lathes and some old drills that have seen better days but still work perfectly fine. Most of the day is spent handling heavy parts and making sure the measurements are right. It’s a lot of manual labor, and we often stay late if a particular piece is giving us trouble. Gali No 9 is always crowded with trucks loading and unloading, so getting things in and out can be a real headache. We don’t really bother with much office work, we’d rather be out on the shop floor actually making things. It’s a loud environment with the constant clinking of tools, but we’re used to it. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so we all know the struggle of keeping everything running. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get the mechanical pieces finished by the end of the day.
